Project details for classes in 2019 are almost ready! Each Saturday of the month will focus on a “theme”: Upcycle/Recycle, Heirloom Sewing, Multi-generations, and a machine class called “Let’s Play with our Feet!”.
The fourth Thursday of each month (except holidays), from 6-9 pm, is the “Sewing 4 Others” session. Anyone who would like to sew for others may meet at my location in Enumclaw. Bring a friend, or make new ones, while sewing for the benefit of those less fortunate. Other weekday and evening sessions are by appointment.
As space is limited (8 workstations), please register early to reserve your place. Once registered you will receive an email with class requirements and further instructions. Each class fee includes thread and supplies needed for the techniques to be covered. Any additional fabrics and kits may be purchased during class or students may bring their own.
Although I have several classroom machines available, I recommend bringing your own machine for the best learning experience. Please let me know if you will need a machine for class.
Students need to bring scissors and pins ~ I recommend Kai scissors and Glass Head pins ~ to class. An iron and cutting table are provided. Sewing room safety is a priority! All students will be closely supervised. * * *
